I mean…I’ll lend you some muggl-y things if you want? As a thanks? Maybe a book on Irish fairytales?” because that was the majority of what she and Aoife chose to read. Irish fairy tales. Cordelia giggled as the firstie described the password walking out of her head. ”Happens to the best of us.” Even the starting seeker for the Gryffindor quidditch team was not immune to forgetting the password occasionally. Muggl-y things? Interesting. ”Of course I can help.” Cordelia smiled at the younger girl. While she would have helped without any offer of rewards, she couldn’t turn down the offer. ”Are your parents muggles? Mine, well, my biological parents are too. Not that I ever properly knew them. I’ve lived with lots of muggles before.” Bonding over a sort of common background? Were her biological parents even still alive? Probably, as far as she knew, but she had no way of knowing for sure and no particular interest in ever seeing them again. She had really never known her birth father since he divorced her birth mother and left while she was still a baby, and the last time she saw her birth mother when she was taken into foster care was before she was old enough to form proper memories. Oooh that turned into a downward spiral pretty quickly. Cordelia had lived at Stemp House for almost as long as she could remember, almost six years. As for muggl-y things, most of the ones she owned were the medical devices keeping her alive.
