Brody's parents were both muggles and killed in a critical vehicular accident. He was taken in by his uncle- Lucas Hawthorne- and later legally adopted by him. Brody had a normal childhood from there on out, even having a motherly figure in his life after Lucas met Tallie. As he reached double digits in terms of age, he began to resent people. This was because he believes that everyone he gets friendly with would leave him. Ironically, he finds it difficult to feel this way about his aunt and uncle. Never the less, it is for this reason he is often cold and rude to everyone.
A younger Brody would not have been caught at one of these sociable things but now? He didn’t care. The deadly mist had him worried and the fact that the Snakes had moved in with the lions... well let’s just say that he as rather uncomfortable in the Gryffindor Common room. Aside from that, the Room of Requirement was not at all far from where he was stationed these days. Arriving there, the curly haired boy recognised the two girls, especially Stella. But being typical Brody Kurt Hawthorne, he ignored their presence and moved for the Treehouse.
He liked treehouses.
Keen eyes caught a glimpse of the food as he looked around. Brody was going to make sure he pitched in on that! What was fun without food? But in the meantime, the fourth year began his journey up to the treehouse. |
