It was a shame that only a few of the merrow had made an appearance, but it was still probably the only proper introduction these students had. The first conversation with a beast, except for those lucky enough to chat with Thereos during his classes or in the Great Hall.
"Please say goodbye to the merrows, gather your things, and get back to your own common rooms. Don't hang out in here or I'll give the Slytherins leave to hex your noses from your faces." He began to gather the jewelry offerings, which would eventually make their way to the merrows outside.
