| *randomly tagged* | Norbert(a) | The Wandmaker (tm) Text Cut: Zita "It's Zita actually and it was a pleasure to meet you, minister." Though she didn't mind it sounding more like an S when Adam said it because she found his accent rather attractive. The minister though she wasn't sure how she felt about him and now that she could vote, she'd be really possibly looking at the other candidates when an election year came up.
Moving away from him and to their spots with people in red shirts she glanced over at Adam as he spoke, "No, no, I don't think you look older at all and even if you have had some bad moments with work that was no reason to just assume as he did." She lifted her hand and touched his cheek hoping that was alright. She knew the first date was a little awkward in how you held yourself and stayed in your own space, but she felt compelled to reach up and touch his cheek at that moment. "Don't let anyone bother you, they should be praising you for sticking around after having an incident as you did." She smiled at his smile and was glad he didn't seem upset.
Though she wondered how he would bowl if he couldn't see in this building very well. Following his lead, she slipped her shirt on as well. It really did cover up her outfit, but the fact that Adam really see how good she looked made it a little easier to change into a plain t-shirt. "Oh I don't mind either, what would you like to do?" Adam’s heart did a little pitter pattery stop-start thing when Zita touched his face. Behind his sunglasses, his eyes closed for a moment, enjoying the warmth from her fingertips. All too soon, however, the warmth was gone. He reached up and ran a hand through his hair, messing it up even more before tugging uncomfortably at his shirt hem. He was happy she didn’t seem upset nor did she give the indication that she was going to run away, at least not yet. There was still time and a lot of his coworkers around. After all, they hadn’t run into his boss yet, and well, Airey Flamsteed was a very unique individual.
What Adam really wanted to do was to turn around and walk out of the bowling alley, maybe take Zita to a park and just enjoy some sunlight and air. But, that wasn’t what he asked her to do today. Maybe next time they went out – if there was a next time. Adam pushed the question away determined to stay in the now. ”Vell,” he said stalling for time as he considered his options. He smelled food, a sanitizer of some sort, and an odd preservation scent – perhaps formaldehyde. ”Let’s get a drink und zen find zee arcade.” He had a feeling Zita wouldn’t like having to handle the shrunken heads and this way, he wouldn’t end up accidentally throwing one at his boss.
He reached out, taking hold of Zita’s hand, and then following his nose turned left to try and find food. He trusted Zita would steer him away from anything and anyone he might walk into.
