| Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something... Well it seemed she would be playing if Charles was offering for her to be on his team. "Alright, I'll take you up on that, but you should know I am rubbish at bowling. " She just wanted him to know that he wouldn't be winning with her on the team.
Now that she had a shirt she slipped it on not fully sure it went with her pants, but it wasn't horrible. Now, where was the rest in these shirts, should they go get started or were they just enjoying each other's company. She should go looking for her own employees and greet them. SPOILER!!: Charles and Adam
Speaking of ahems... friend? Glancing bashfully back and forth between the young woman and the Unspeakable who must be twice her age, Charles attempted to make heads and tails of the situation. So...not a young father then. It had been a bit presumptuous of the man, yes, but there had been a rise of these teen pregnancies according to the papers. "Oh, well. Pleasure to meet you as well, Sita," he smiled kindly to her. "Red is an excellent choice. Almost my selection." Gryffindor being his former house and something he took GREAT pride in - defying his bloodline always brought him great satisfaction.
Adam felt Zita’s hand grip his arm a little tighter. His instinct was to reach over and pat her hand reassuringly, but instead he held out his hand for the shirts. Perhaps it was best that they just collect their shirts and move along on their merry way. Red was fine. He didn’t care what the name was (most of the puns would be lost on him anyways), or anything else about it except that they could move along after receiving it. ”Thank you Minister,” he said politely and, since he put his support cane away, let Zita steer him away from the counter.
When they stopped, he handed Zita her shirt. ”Sorry about zhat.” He felt it necessary to say something else. ” I swear I’m not zhaht old. But perhappen, after das last couple of years I look it,” he tried to joke as he also put on a goofy smile. Maybe the joke would ease the tension. He really didn’t want Zita to leave or for this to be their last outing together. He wanted to say the minister was crazy, but there were just too many ears around here and the last thing he needed was to loose his job.
He took a moment to pull the red shirt over his head, hoping it wasn’t on backwards (he hadn’t felt a tag). His hair was now sticking up a little and his glasses had shifted. He straightened the sunglasses, then patted at his hair completely missing the part that was sticking up. ”Did you want to throw eh few heads or…find eh pinball machine?”
"It's Zita actually and it was a pleasure to meet you, minister." Though she didn't mind it sounding more like an S when Adam said it because she found his accent rather attractive. The minister though she wasn't sure how she felt about him and now that she could vote, she'd be really possibly looking at the other candidates when an election year came up.
Moving away from him and to their spots with people in red shirts she glanced over at Adam as he spoke, "No, no, I don't think you look older at all and even if you have had some bad moments with work that was no reason to just assume as he did." She lifted her hand and touched his cheek hoping that was alright. She knew the first date was a little awkward in how you held yourself and stayed in your own space, but she felt compelled to reach up and touch his cheek at that moment. "Don't let anyone bother you, they should be praising you for sticking around after having an incident as you did." She smiled at his smile and was glad he didn't seem upset.
Though she wondered how he would bowl if he couldn't see in this building very well. Following his lead, she slipped her shirt on as well. It really did cover up her outfit, but the fact that Adam really see how good she looked made it a little easier to change into a plain t-shirt. "Oh I don't mind either, what would you like to do?"
