Lucas found himself tuning back in to the lesson in time to hear Cornish talk about systems and writing to his parents (?) and then...... protests? His eyebrows went straight up while the man ranted. Yeaaaaaah, he was adding this to the list of things he wasn't arguing with the man about.
Getting up, he wandered over to the box and grabbed a long piece of twine and a handful of shell beads before heading back to his seat again. Making jewellery sounded simple enough - and if he had some extra, he miiiiiiight just make a bracelet for Emma just because - but discussions? TALKING?! With the entire class?? No, thank you. Nuh-uh. He wasn't taking part. Count him OUT.
Even so, it was hard not to listen to whatever it was everyone else was talking about. Someone mentioned how no one in the Ministry was doing anything, someone else mentioned that they're all old or purebloods and don't want to make change, and then someone else started talking about prejudices, which....... caused the third year to squirm.
And apparently, Cornish was going to run for Minister, or Department Head.
