Maeve half-muttered an apology on the shuffling. Yes she could walk properly, but also she was only a sixth year... not that it made much a difference. Irregardless she was a week away from her seventeenth birthday. Smiles for the best friend who came in after her.

And they were talking about eye ailments, ironically enough. Cause at almost seventeen that was something she was concerned about. NOT. But she was fully aware of some - such as what Gunnar mentioned with the nearsighted and farsighted. As far as any others? Glaucoma, perhaps? Wasn't the pressure one? Oh, they were talking now about creatures who might suffer from eye ailments? Couldn't ANY creature that had eyes - which was all of them - have problems with their eyes? Sure that wasn't super specific but, it was true.

Also, she was curious ... could the oculus potion be used for corrective purposes of sight? Like to correct nearsightedness? She knew muggles had methods that used lasers and such, but did a potion work witches and wizards? She jotted down that question to ask for later, because right now it seemed they were having a little exercise.

Who was she sitting with again? Maybe they could work together on this. She's pretty good with potions normally, so as long as the person can see they should be fine.

"Hey, I can't see. The stupid goggles have blinded me. Want to work together? I'm pretty good with potion work, I just need someone to be my eyes."
Just as she was about to put on her pair of goggles she'd randomly picked up, she'd heard Eniola complaining on not seeing. "I'll work alongside you, but I think we're meant to prepare our own? Perhaps we can try using our other senses to determine the right amounts?" Just an idea. With that, she slipped on the pair of goggles she grabbed. Great, she could see into the distance just fine, but anything within a foot of her - aka her whole workstation - was super blurry. She supposed it was better than not seeing at all though, as was Eni's problem.
