YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers What is this? It was her homework. Probably from two weeks ago, but it was her Defense homework, irregardless. Moving on though because they were apparently talking about what makes someone a dark wizard. This was a question that her aunt would have loved. But intent didn't necessarily mean anything?? Sure you had to have intent to use dark magic effectively, but sometimes you weren't aware of what you were doing. Sometimes, YOU were under the guise of dark magic - aka the imperius curse - and you couldn't help yourself. Sometimes you were literally just brainwashed into doing what you thought was the right thing. Sometimes your brain was thinking too much and class was moving on without you.
Oh, wait, class was moving on.
Unforgivable curses were forgiveable to end violence and wrongdoing? Did that mean there were exceptions to every rule? Did that make DEATH okay if it was used against a truly bad person? What defined a bad person anyway? Should some items maybe not be in existence because they were truly bad? Where did she draw the line? She wouldn't kill. She probably wouldn't even torture. She would ... chewing at the end of of her quill, she frowned. Behavior modification is what she would do. Which was that ....... could she do that post-Hogwarts? Was that something she could focus on?? This was the first time, when Maeve Walsh actually thought of post-Hogwarts.
Wow.
They were making wanted posters now. Or a report for if they actually got caught. What was going on with the looks across the room from those fourth years?? Maeve glanced around for Kamryn or Anna but sighed, figuring it was best if she just made her own poster. Although Anna's would probably be something like "Playing Quidditch too intensely, sending another player to the hospital". And Kamryn would probably be something dramatic, knowing her Hufflepuff best friend. Something related to relationships too.
But what did Maeve Walsh do?? Ah, she was running out of time, so the sixth year quickly just wrote the first thing to come to mind. WANTED

ACCUSED CRIME: Standing Idly By While Others Were Harmed

Huh. That actually seemed believable.
Now it was onto interviewing the portraits? Three questions to ask to maybe get them to reveal what they did. What would make her spill the beans? Actually she wasn't one for keeping secrets, so maybe.... use Kam again. What would she do to get Kam to talk? Other than tickle her silly. Cause she couldn't exactly tickle a portrait.... well she could, but that would be inappropriate as an investigator. She could just flat out ask, "What did you do?" just to gauge their response.
