 Arts TRANSPONSTER!
Anna could sense Maeve staying close, but she was busy still taking her surrounding in to really strike a conversation with the other Gryffindor, who seemed to be interested in party games. As her friend trailed off after her question, Anna shrugged, not sure herself about what really happened at those types of... parties.
And before she could even try to guess, she felt like a bucket full of ice cold water had just been dumped on her. Inhaling sharply, she looked up just to see that ghost of yet another former professor - this time one she hadn't met as a living being (Burbage) - had just gone right through her. Still trying to stop the shiver that had gone down her spine, Anna shook her head in disbelief before chuckling at the ghost's remark. "Just trying to blend in." Anna replied, giving Maeve a funny look because wow. This party was so far... well, she wasn't too sure how to put it.
Aaaaand it was already time to leave. Not much to do at a death day party, was there? They couldn't even eat any of the food! And the ghosts seemed way too entertained amongst themselves to really stop and have long, interesting conversations with them. Anna decided she liked to chat to them in more friendly - for humans, that was - environments, such as the Common Room and Great Hall. That way she could ask way more questions and just be more interested in each individual ghost rather than just watch them as a... mass of... ghostliness.
Anyhow, back to the classroom it was. As professor O'Hara didn't mention it this time, Anna genuinely forgot to stay behind and make sure all students followed. Instead, she led the way of those who seemed to be walking slower than necessary. "Bye, all, I hope you have fun!" She waved at the ghosts before heading out. |
