Job Description:
This position works side by side with the Ambassadors. Foreign Relations Officers take care of handling any and all VIP's and Foreign Delegations. They are responsible for sending invitations to other countries inviting them to visit Britain and/or attend meetings. Foreign Relations Officers are also responsible for the itineraries of any political visitors to the country; i.e. setting up site-seeing excursions, making reservations, and even keeping secret visits by Foreign dignitaries a secret and not letting a leak escape to the press
Personality: Mai is a petite, engaging creature overflowing with positive energy. Intelligent and bright, she is also popular and eminently lovable. Very dedicated to her work she is careful to find the work-life balance we all seek so passionately. Unfortunately, when training for a new job she can get very immersed in the work in order to become as good as she can; usually surprising her peers and teachers with her ability. She is particularly good with nonverbal spells.
History: Mai has had a very regular childhood. Two loving parents, she grew up speaking both of their native tongues – English and Vietnamese. Although she was a bit taller than the other kids because her dad is English, she got along with everyone quite well with how friendly she is and never had a problem making friends.
When she was approached with her family about magic and this whole new world, she thought it was amazing and beautiful. What could be better? Her parents were hesitant, but once they got to witness things like talking mail and the flu network? They were a little more convinced that the strange things they’d seen their daughter do maybe wasn’t so crazy after all. Going to Mahoutokoro was a core building block in making Mai into the woman she is today, and she couldn’t speak higher of the school. She was pushed harder and encouraged more than ever before and even since she’s never experienced that level of tutelage. It’s something she continues to seek in mentors and job positions, meeting people and learning from them is a huge desire for her. So, working in Foreign Relations is a dream come true as she comes across new people all the time for various reasons. There’s always a new learning opportunity.
