Mmmmm.....she was going to have to disagree with the professor on that one. Full body stretches (you know, the ones where you raise your arms and stretch from there) worked better. But, her still slightly groggy mind didn't fill like getting into that now.
"Some magician's, and lucky people in general, can escape from bindings like rope and handcuffs," Archer piped up. Not that she'd ever tried it herself. "One magician by the name of Harry Houdini could even escape from straitjackets.....while underwater. And some say that he even died while doing one of his little tricks." Sort of crazy to put yourself through that just for kicks and a few dollars, but whatever. The underwater straitjacket thing, not dying. Although, that sucked too. "Which, he kind of did if you think about it, because he was trying to prove that he could withstand repeated punches to the stomach, which resulted in his appendix bursting and he didn't get to the hospital in time." Yeah, not a great thing to ignore, people.
"Which reminds me, there's an current Auror that's rumored to be able to escape ropes and handcuffs too....." Or was he training to be one...? She couldn't really remember, nor did she know if it was really true. People could and did makeup things all the time, after all.
