"I know." Anna replied to Dorian's comment about the reason of Nearly-Headless Nick's death. "But I don't think that's what really bothers him. It's mainly the fact he's not allowed to be a member of that Headless Hunt group." She said before lowering her voice to tell him the next bit. "But don't mention that around him, he gets quite... upset." Annoyed? Moany? The last thing Anna wanted was to have a grumpy Nearly-Headless Nick at that Death Party.
She chuckled at Patrick's remark about nerdiness. "I only know that because he told me." She whispered. Literally, her as a nerd didn't even sound right in jokes.
The Gryffindor listened to professor O'Hara's instructions by the staircases and already started wondering what this party was going to look like. Said imagining didn't last too long as they were soon going down the stairs and walking into the room... which kind of smelled. Anna didn't actually mind the sound of the organ, but that weird smell, Merlin. It'd take her a while to not notice it. At least she was hoping she'd get to that stage before they left the party, but she was more likely have to keep reminding herself not to wrinkle her nose. She didn't want to offend the ghosts.
Oh, great... the very first ghost to appear was that moaning one from the girl's bathroom. Anna always tried to avoid her because moany people had the tendency to annoy her pretty quickly - she preferred people who came up with solutions rather than just point out problems all the time, y'know? Moany people didn't seem capable of doing the former very often, and Moaning Myrtle never did it, did she? Merlin. See her first comment already? Anna had to refrain an eye roll. |
