Quickly, for the golden hour's light changed too fast for any sort of delay, she dug around her bag for her highlighter and applied some more to the tip of her nose and cheekbones.
But she wasn't done.
The wind whipped through, annoyingly readjusting her hair, and in the process of trying to reach up to make sure she didn't get too many flyaways, she'd dropped her compact. Down it tumbled, rolling away from her toes and finally resting to teeter on the edge of the bridge. FUDGE FLIES. Gunnar enjoyed being outside, no matter the weather, even on a windy day like today. In fact, he was rather used to the wind, considering how often he was on his broom, and the faster he flew through the air, the more the wind blew through his hair and on his face.
He hardly noticed it today as he walked over the bridge, taking the long way back to the castle from the pitch after practice. His broom resting against his shoulder as he carried it, he hardly gave the girl much notice as he approached to pass her, until he noticed something fall from her hands. Gunnar couldn't quite tell what it was from his vantage point, but he could see it threatening to fall from the edge. "Accio might be useful," he said helpfully as his footsteps took him closer to her. She had her wand with her, right?
