Kassie had just finished pouring a cup of tea when she heard a knock on the door. "Yes? Please come in." She called out from the back as she grabbed a second teacup from the cabinet and placed it on the tray. It wasn't every day she had a visitor at tea time and she hoped that her guest would be able to stay for a cup and some cookies. Once the cups and cookies were securely on the tray, she headed towards the front door.
