Truth be told, Colin had lost track of everything that had been going on amidst all the chaos. He knew that the dummies would be quite a distraction and the Bludgers rather vicious, but he wasn't anticipating that level of intensity. The Beater hopefuls out there were seemingly handling it all rather well, and he hoped his Captains were taking thorough notes.
Feeling the sun getting warmer on his neck, he looked down at his watch and took note of the time. It was nearly time for the first tryout session to come to a close. Several minutes later, the man reached for his whistle.

As the sound of the whistle echoed through the air, the dummies came to a sudden halt and then gradually returned to their original positions on the ground, returning back to their idle state. The Bludgers whizzed and zigzagged about the pitch for a moment before Colin waved his wand and watched as they slowly returned to their spot in the school's ball trunk.
"Nice flyin' out there, ye lot. That'll be the end of this tryout session," he called out to everyone who was still flying around the pitch on their brooms. "Captains will be postin' up rosters sometime next week, so keep yer eye on the noticeboard in yer common room. That said, time for ye to hit the showers and go about the rest of yer day."
