There was a reason why she practice silence in the majority of her lessons and it was for the purpose of staying unnoticed. With this in mind, it was not at all surprising that standing in front of her Professor’s door was the exact last place that she wanted to be. The petite Slytherin wracked her mind for all of the possible reasons as to why she was summoned. It couldn’t be because of her performance on homework and exams because she always made incredibly high marks.
And she payed attention in class and always took notes, despite pretending to look uninterested whenever she remembered. She hadn’t ever said anything rude or distasteful during a lesson (she didn’t speak at all). And despite her distaste for some of her peers’ answers, she was fairly respectful. She couldn’t think of a reason as to why she’d be in trouble, but still she was nervous.
Typically she would have curiously analyzed her surroundings, taking note of any remarkable portraits or decor. Interior decorating was often one of the best ways to understand about a person. But given why she was here, it was hardly surprising that she felt slightly off.
With uncertainty, the fourth year lightly knocked on the door. She wanted to disappear into the floor.
