It was as though Harper's usually bubbly self had been ramped up a notch today. There was no particular reason for her great mood, it just seemed that everything was going well that day and Harper loved days like that, when the stars seemed to align and everything was perfect.
And she got to hold hands with her wonderful girlfriend (hands that were being swung ever so slightly, as though she were a love-struck teenager and not a twenty-nine year old woman) as they went to the theatre! Her beautiful girlfriend who got a grin as wide as possible, and a quick cheek kiss. "Have I told you how incredible you look tonight?"
She had. Six times.
