No matter how it may have looked to anyone else if they could have seen him right then, he was not lost.
He was just... taking his time. Exploring every little nook of the maze. Not struggling to escape. No, that was for less clever and adventurous Hogwarts students to do. This Gryffindor was perfectly happy and not even remotely panicking about being lost in the maze.
