No harm. No foul. Wasn't like she had bumped his station during Potions class.
Perspective with his dramatic, he had that. Most of the time.
Looking past the older girl to the younger in the compartment - the one introducing herself in a rather chipper manner - and watched the shavings get discarded to the floor of the compartment. Hmmm. "Eiji," he offered, extending his own hand and was rather oblivious (or indifferent) to whatever aura she may think she was giving off. Rebecca was a first year too, it hardly seemed like some foreign person or an infant learning to walk kind of situation. "Was not my intention to interrupt your writing."
Just to clarify. She was welcome to go back to it if she wanted. He would just stand out here with...well...he hadn't learned the other girl's name yet. But sure, he could just stand out here with her.

Eniola couldn't help but to overhear the conversation the boy was having with the other girl, Eiji, she thought. That's a unique name. Although people probably think the same for me. Cranning her head over those she could her eyes scanned for an empty compartment. Or at least a mostly empty one. Once again, way too high of hopes Ms. Abara.
Oh good. The boy seemed to be pretty easygoing, and he didn't appear to notice (or care) about her uncharacteristically eager behavior. She gave Eiji's hand a polite shake.
"Oh, that's alright," Avalon said, referring to his sort-of apology for interrupting her writing.
"That piece was rubbish anyway." She laughed softly and quickly deliberated going into further detail about how it was difficult to focus with all the noise of the train, but she restrained herself. She didn't want to be labeled as a weird writer nerd before the term even started.
Avalon noticed a head of hair peeking around in the hallway behind Eiji. The girl looked to be older - probably a sixth or seventh year. She looked like she was scoping out a compartment to sit in.
"This one is pretty much open if you need a spot," she called out to the girl. Not that an older student would ever want to sit with a measly little first year anyway -- and the girl probably had plenty of friends on the train -- but she thought it would be nice to at least extend the offer. After all, if the roles were reversed and
she was looking for an empty compartment, Avalon hoped that someone would be kind enough to invite her to sit with them.
