But one thing he did know was that the voice wasn’t one he had heard before. So, the boy turned around dramatically slowly and was met with....... someone. Someone he didn’t recognise at all. And he was standing there, one arm still stretched up as far as it could go.
What do you say to this? "Uh, well," he started, stepping down and facing her properly, "Octopus arms would be a really cool trick. Just wave your arms and you can reach anything you want." At this, he glanced up at the chocolate dragon, his nose scrunched up slightly. "The chocolate dragon fudges are the best ones but they always put them so far away. No one can reach that!" He was sure of it. Eleanor watched with curiosity how the boy kept stretching his arm up and up as far as he could reach. Had he not heard her? Saved the need to comment again she was though when the dark curly haired boy turned around dramatically slow for some kind of effect most likely, that was lost on her, to face her.
Smiling a little she said. "Yes, just waving your arms and they’d lengthen like an octopus would be a really neat trick to see. Too bad we aren’t allowed to use magic outside of school." Ellie could think of a number of spells that could come in handy in this boy’s predicament.
Raising her gaze to look up at the chocolate dragon fuges she shrugged when she looked at the boy and repeated again. "So what’s wrong with finding a ladder? Or you could ask the shopkeeper for assistance?" He had now admitted to himself that the fudges we’re too far out of of reach like she had seen directly. "What’s so good about dragon fudges anyway?" Ellie wondered as she remembered her manners, and introduced herself. "I’m Eleanor by the way. Most call me Ellie though."
