Aha! She got Aurora to smile! That felt like an accomplishment for Eni, she’s always worried she’s putting her foot in her mouth so this was a nice change. Oh, Eni wished she could visit America one day. She’s heard of the muggle amusement parks there, they’re supposed to be the “happiest place on Earth” and Eni loved the adrenaline she’s sure she’d have in those death defying contraptions. “Do you mind me asking: why didn’t you leave if you enjoyed it there?”

Welllllllll, there had been that one time in the kitchens at Hogwarts she was desperate for a fix to get her through exams and the house elves refused to give her any more sugar because she’d had so much coffee already so she may or may not have stolen a pack of sugar cubes. But there’s no telling anyone else that. Nope, that is saved away, buried under lock and key never to be spoken of again. Eni chuckled awkwardly, “No, of course not! Who would do that? It’s not like I’ve ever been that desperate for sugar.”

Eni smiled hearing that she’s even a tad excited. “Maybe you’ll be sorted into Hufflepuff and we’ll be housemates! If not, we should still have some classes together, so there will always be a friendly face.”
