The fire inside her grew when she saw the bludger hit by Pavel Torben make contact with Raju. Her position had left her too far away to intercept the flying ball of destruction, but she was in a great position to send it hurtling back towards Renee Golzio.

With a loud crack, her bat made contact with the very bludger that struck her captain. If Renee kept her current position, Nila was hopeful for a solid strike. Unfortunately, she didn't have the time to watch and see. She angled her body and took off in the direction of Raju's pass towards Mila. If Mila caught the quaffle, she would be in need of protection.
