Governed by the sun, Missa Renaldi is dedicated, kind, and determined. Born with a hearing defect, she felt excluded from the world at a very young age. But she was still very loved by her family, especially her father. Quiet, and with very loud thoughts, she struggled into being her own person for the longest time. She felt incomplete compared to everyone else, and that feeling grew more and more as she became older.

Curious by nature, when her hearing was restored - three years or so before Hogwarts, she found herself wanting to know everything - it is, as if, she was and is still constantly afraid that one day she will wake up and not hear anything again. So, even though at first school was difficult, talking was difficult, she pushed herself - and slowly but surely, made things easier and less scary for herself. She made friends, and became more vocal. Hogwarts became the first place she found her voice at, and so it became a home - despite the drama, the danger.

Though she may seem the grounded kind, often times she feels entirely the opposite - doubting her actions and wondering if she should be doing more than she was at the moment. She constantly demands more from herself. Because deep in her heart, she knows, there is more, always more in the world.
