Diagon Alley was nothing like the quiet streets of the Old Town part of the city she grew up in. It was crowded and people touched each other all the time and it was so much colder. She walked around with a big coat that would be more appropriate for the winter season, a long skirt and thick gray tights. Tehilla avoided walking into the wand shop for as long as she could, but she started getting hungry and needed Vitaliy to take her to eat at an appropriate place.
The wand shop it is. ... Ollivander's. "Mr. Ollivander?" Tehilla said quietly as she stepped through the door, and blinked. It was full of little people, adults, families with excited smiles and glowing faces, eager to get their children wands. The sight almost made her tear up. It was a rite of passage, getting a wand. She hadn't really realised it until she saw the way the children's faces shone as they received their wands.
The fourteen year old bit her lip, and walked towards the counter. "Excuse me?" She gingerly pulled out the wand she currently had, an old one of Vitaliy's that she'd need to return, and nervously waited for someone to turn to her.
