Wand out, he tried to remember which of the three spells would work on the suit of armor. If it was a typical suit of armor he would have some trouble, but this one was made of glass, which meant he just needed to perform the spell to revert it back to sand. Luckily, he had just done that spell so he knew exactly what to do. "Prima forma sabulo." He made a counterclockwise motion in the air and ended with a point at the suit of armour to revert it to sand.

The suit of armour loomed over the boy and unsheathed its sword, ready to attack.

Before it had the chance however, the spell hit and where the armour once stood, was now a large heap of sand.

Well done. You’ll have to climb over the mound of sand but you don’t have far to go.

SPOILER!!: Miss McCarthy & Mr Ashburry-Hawthorne

She looked around the room and took a deep breath, seeing Dorian glancing over she tried to look braver than she was. She didn't want her house to think she was a full screw up.

So hurrying into the maze before she could change her mind she got ready for whatever was there.

"Let's work together, yeah?" twirls his fwooper core wand between his fingers before pointing it again at the roll on his desk to give the spell a proper goal. Though...what was he supposed to picture as the original image? A pile of flour? The actual wheat? Did it matter?

Practice seemed to WHIZ by and before Derf had really accomplished ANYTHING...they were on to a maze activity...and he was going to stick close to the little Ravenclaw, THAT was for sure.

"We'll go through it together," he assured her, even slipping one of his calloused hands around her small dainty seeker one. "Wands out and let's go." Takes a few confident steps forward with her...cause...you know...fake it until you make it.

Your journey through the maze so far has been clear…..

Perhaps luck is on your side……?

Your luck has run out because lurking in wait for you behind the next corner is the biggest obstacle of the lot….

Think giant animated gingerbread man…. Except made from freshly baked delicious smelling bread dough…. He’s seven foot tall and he’s coming straight for you, doughy arms outstretched.

Good job there’s two of you tackling this obstacle.

It’s growing darker still……

Which way next? Make the correct choice and the end could be in sight.

The dark-haired Ravenclaw brandished her wand, imagining the glass window dissolving into a mound of sand, just like the goblet in the classroom... white sand, not the brownish-beige stuff she'd produced the first time. When she had the vision clear in her mind. she made an anticlockwise circle with her wand and pointed it at the window. "Prima Forma Sabulo!"

Her eyes remained glued to the glass. Had it worked?

It did work.

The glass barrier vanished and in its place, it rained fine grains of sand.

You’re able to pass without a bump on the head but keep your eyes open…..

Is it just your imagination or are the walls closing in…..?

After practicing, she grabbed her wand and headed in to the maze along with everyone else.

A swarm of paper origami dragons flutter and fly towards you. They might look cute at first, but if you don’t deal with them quick enough, they’re going to get angry.

What are you going to do?

Grabbing her wand, she took a deep breath and headed in to the maze. Time to check out some of these obstacles and see if her practicing had actually done her some good...

And speaking of paper origami….

Hopefully you don’t suffer from arachnophobia because there’s an origami spider, the size of a Labrador retriever scuttling straight towards you down the concrete wall.

Let it get close enough and you’ll see it even has paper fangs.
