Judging from his body language, it seemed like he was shocked and not really happy either about how they both became match at this matchmaking thing. Truth to told, Ava wasn't that excited at all because... A date was supposed to be fun and exciting and cute but it turned to be awkward (and not that awkward-cute kind of thing) and.... Cue internally screaming. "Uhm... Yes, it is." She let out an awkward chuckle and agreed on him how awkward this situation was. Perhaps the matchmaker knew they both worked for MLE so he/she decided pair them up just based on that.
"I don't mind if you address me by my first name... Ifyouwantto." Suddenly Ava spoke up. After all, this wasn't a professional environment so at least she should try to be... less formal? But still polite, obviously. Goodness, she couldn't imagine how would they're going to handle today and then back to work tomorrow. Let's just... try this. Whatever. Looking around at the room, she noticed there was a freezer and a table full of goodies and stuffs. "So... what are we going to do with all of these?"
