Hogwarts RPG Name: Dolly Dopple Graduated | Text Cut: Student replies Quote:

Her brain was churning now, though - was it actually FUR? And did it have something to do with her Rapunzel-like locks?
So lost in thought, she almost forgot to answer the professor's question. She raised her hand. "Well, right now my hair is too thick and really hard to control. I think besides that...I'd like to be taller?" she suggested. In truth Nettie didn't have many insecurities. She was awesome. Her height was actually one of her favorite qualities about herself - she was small and cute. Pocket sized! Ah yes, the first student. Dolly pointed at the young, furry girl. Apparently her fur was too hard to control. That was too bad. It really did look FETCH. ”Ah, yes height! I wish I were a bit taller too!” Although now that she was a ghost, she could float as high as she wanted to! Quote:

BUT WHY WERE THEY STILL HERE?????????? Leave it to Hogwarts to keep the show going. Honestly. What was the point of having a dead Professor if it didn't even get you out of class? Would this school really stop at nothing?
Also, what the hell was a FETCH? And why was Dopple trying to make it happen? IT WASN'T GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!!
And uh, the fur predicament? Zoryn literally didn't care. Soz. Because it looked like that wasn't enough of an excuse to get out of class either. SAD! "I'd like to be taller" did she have a spell for that? Because it would make things MUCH easier in the Faith Chosen department. Their mismatch of heights made certain activities far too difficult. Oh, and another one that wanted to be taller too! Dolly nodded and then paused, recognizing the girl from that TRAGIC visit in her office when she discovered that she was DYING. ”Oh, my dear. How are you feeling? You look well!” She looked very good for a dying girl! Quote:

The fur being a fashion statement was a bit of a stretch and honestly, now that she'd slipped once, the sixteen year old could not stop thinking of words without associating them with ghosts. For example, she could picture Dopple asking the head girl if she'd found her coat at a boo-tique and it made her want to cringe.
How could she be sensitive to the professor's....condition when all she could do was fixate on it?
The struggle was real.
Thinking REALLY hard before speaking out loud, she finally offered, "I always wanted blue eyes. I think they're quite b-beautiful." Not bootiful. Never that. Dolly's eyes moved to the next girl the one who had (probably accidentally) made the joke about being in the right spirit. ”Awww, yes, blue eyes are lovely, aren't they?!” Quote:

To be honest, his mind was still preoccupied with ghost-related thoughts. When she was still alive she'd been a bit... unobservant, and he was pretty sure that was mostly related to her poor eyesight and hearing that came with being extremely old. But since she was a ghost now did that mean she was able to see and hear much better?
Indigo tuned back in to catch the end of her question. What would he change about his appearance? "I'd like a tattoo." Did that count? Then her eyes moved to the boy right next to the girl who had just spoken up (she should really learn their names someday). A tattoo?? How interesting. ”Oh, I see! Tattoos are quite fun. I’ve had quite a few removed in my time!” She had lived a long time, you know. That was a long time to make mistakes. Quote:

"It's Kettleburn, ma'am. And aside from my hairy little problem, I wish my face wasn't so round." Not a problem at the moment, since it was covered in fur. ”Miss Cattleburn, yes, that’s what I said.” Wasn’t that what she had said? She was very grateful for the help of her to write things down on the board for her, though. ”A round face! I’ve always thought they were quite cute, but that’s alright. We all have our own preferences!” Her own face was quite saggy these days. Quote:

That sounds quite tragic.” At least it was a SCAR and not a wound. Quote:

Not just for him it seemed, seeing as Professor Dopple, too, wasn't QUITE used to her lack of...aliveness. And solidity. But she didn't seem all that bothered by it either. Which was partly why the professor's next question came as quite the surprise to Cameron. Something they wanted to change about their physical appearance? He frowned.
Was Dopple's answer to that "be less...dead"? "I beg your pardon, professor, but isn't that a rather superficial question?" Did they really need another reason to think about what they DIDN'T like about their appearance? You know, it hadn’t been long since Dolly had... died, but she had gotten used to the life as a ghost. It really wasn’t that bad! She did like this boy’s comment though, and it got her to float up a little higher in excitement! ”You are quite right, my dear boy! Hold onto that thought.” She’d get to that later. Quote:

So instead his attention moved back to Professor Dopple, also ready to jump to it at a moment's notice when she needed something - likely a demonstration in modification of some sort, seeing as the topic of the day seemed to be heading.
Though...was this topic REALLY appropriate? Everyone in this school was already so insecure about one thing or another and, well, he was just going to stop overthinking.
"Sometimes I wish I had gotten some of my tattoos done with animated ink," he offered up. Otherwise...he had finally come to be at peace about himself, so highlighting something he was not too keen on was a big no thank you. "Reckon it would be pretty neat to see that, you know?" Like his sun tattoo on his shoulder. Someone had already mentioned tattoos before, but animated tattoos were something fun! ”Oh, yes indeed!” Dolly exclaimed when the head boy piped up with his answer. ”Yes, I reckon that would be quite neat!” Quote:

Oh, too soon Professor. Even though it was her that had perished.
She tried not to giggle as Chloe was referred to as Kettlebark, which was easy enough. Hanna watched the question go up on the board by Chloe's very solid hand, and pondered it. She raised her hand, after listening to some of the other things people didn't like about their physical appearance. "I wish my toes were slightly longer," she said. "They don't look as good as my dance teacher's when I point them." That was something she was a bit self conscious about. Her inability to make her feet look very long when she pointed them. To be honest, Dolly was expecting more responses like “less acne” and “better beard growing abilities”. Certainly not anything about toes, but that was just fine. ”How very strange! But just as well, alright!” There was nothing wrong with wanting longer toes, she supposed! Quote:

She knew she probably looked pretty weird studying a dead cat so intently, but she didn't care. There was a reason behind it that would reveal itself eventually. She was so absorbed in the cat that she almost forgot this was charms class, and she jumped slightly at the sound of the professor's voice.
Blink, blink. Tina wasn't sure whether to be amused or appalled when Professor Dopple referred to some of her classmates’ fur as a new fashion trend. That seemed too out of touch, even for Dopple! Before she could judge too much, she reminded herself that the woman had recently died and was probably still traumatized. She was just going to chalk that up to shock.
Tina considered the professor's question for a minute… something she didn't like about her appearance? Oh, wow! Where should she start? Well, for one thing, she wished her eyes weren't quite so dark, and she would've liked to have smaller hands and feet. But if she had to pick just one thing that she didn't like, it would have to be her long, scrawny arms and legs! “I wish my arms and legs were a bit shorter,” she said after raising her hand. “They look too big for my body, and it makes it difficult to find clothes that fit properly.” Especially shirts and trousers. She always had to have them charmed to be longer in the arms and legs.It was annoying!
Taking the last raised hand, Dolly pointed to the young girl and waited for her response. She thought her arms and legs were too long! Interesting, yes indeed. ”Well, that seems quite unfortunate! You know, you can always use charms to make your clothes longer.” But they wouldn’t be going over that in class today.
Once everyone was done offering their answers, Dolly moved on to the next portion of the lesson. ”Alright, excellent job everyone. Now we’ve got another question to get your brains even MORE warmed up.” You could never have too many brainstorming sessions! ”OH! Mr..... err.. Mr. Head Boy!” She was still bad at names. ”Could you please write this next bit on the board? Just write down some answers as they come out.” Then she waved her hands excitedly and turned her attention back to the class. ”Alright, now, for the next question, I want you all to tell me some ways, magical or mundane, that people use to enhance their beauty or hide their blemishes. Hmm? List them all, go on.” There were a lot of ways! OOC: Hello again! This post is a bit short, but we're just moving onto the next question! Have your character answer the question! We'll move on again in about 20 hours - around March 1st at 7pm (GMT-7).
