She fought the urge to throw herself at him and cuddle in his lap because 1) she was now his boss, 2) he was married and his wife may have been a little bit scary and 3) she did not need the new employees to know that she had cried multiple times on a mans shoulders and this was that man. Rustin Killick was her absolute weakness. Always. Always.

Instead, she placed a big kiss on the top of his head and stole his coffee mug for a swig before returning it. "I did. It was extremely thoughtful of your wife. And my coffee machine is set up in my office. Get lunch with me today? We'll break it in." That was a lie. A big lie. She had already broken it in and used it a hundred times. But what a lovely best friend she had. A best friend that she was finally more important than. Hehehehehhehhhee.

Okay. She may as well get her stuff together now anyway. Clearing her throat, Eliora took a seat on top of the desk at the front and grinned at them all. "Alright. There isn't much to say today, honestly. Maybe good morning. Maybe enjoy the food. Maybe.. let's raise a mug to Maddox, yes? He'll be sorely missed. Gone but not forgotten. Forever in our hearts." Mostly her heart, but she supposed everyone else could miss him too. Just not as much as she did. "Oh! He's not dead. I didn't kill him to get his job." Maybe that was something that she should have thought about not saying out loud. Hmm...

"Things are going to be exceptionally busy this year, I can assure you. Avoid holidays this summer. I can say 99.9% positive that they won't be approved. Our services, your services will be required at the Quidditch World Cup and we're probably the most important of everyone that will be working it. Don't let anyone tell you different" She gave the room a surveying glance and took a swig from her coffee. Ah. Perfect. "I'll speak with all of you about it in the next month or so. We have a lot to do, a lot to fix and I expect all feet forward for this. If you're not in it for the long haul or one hundred percent, then you know where the door is."

"Continue with the assignments you had before the break. Ensure your paperwork is correct before handing it in. I will return paperwork to you if there is one detail wrong. I'm not picking up your slack. I have my own work to do. New employees.. stick with your mentor for today and then go towards your direct supervisor after that for your assignments." And goodness gracious... do not come to find her. She would drag her nails down a chalkboard for over an hour and make them listen to it. Because that was what whining sounded like. That was what incompetence sounded like. "DRINK COFFEE!!" Oh. That was louder than planned. Eliora laughed a little and shrugged it off. "You'll need the energy. Drink coffee, bring me coffee, bring your busy colleagues a coffee and work together. We have the best coffee in this whole place and it definitely isn't as loved as it should be."

"There's a compliments box outside of my office. Fill in a slip about an employee, or about me and post it. We'll share them every so often. Those with compliments that move me or make me proud may receive a little prize." A kiss, perhaps. Or just a free lunch and an extra hour of lunch. LOL. YAAAS. LOL.

"For now... you have twenty minutes to eat and then I expect you to be back working. I'll be in my offICE!" Because she HAD AN OFFICE NOW. DID THEY KNOW THAT?!!?!
Wait that was his coff--sigh. Rusty nodded. Lunch then. His lunch was spoken for. Hopefully Mar wouldn't mind too much. And he did smile because yeah she was a thoughtful lady, Marilyn Killick.

Neeeeever got old to think about her first name with his surname. Not even a little bit.

However, he was DEFINITELY skeptical about this 'breaking in the coffee machine' business. He KNEW Eliora Dodderidge. She probably made a coffee or five with it when it was still in the STORE, just to make sure it worked.

Quidditch. Ah yes. He'd worked a few World Cups in his Obliviation career, actually. It always required being on the ball. You just never knew when a muggle might catch on to something even if the muggle-worthy excuse committee had been completely on the ball with their prep and the event team had warded every blade of grass in a ten mile radius. It was just the nature of the beast.

He wasn't so sure about the compliment box, expecting it could get a bit.... messy, but Rustin still made a mental note to quickly scribble something just so he could say he did. Actually... there was a napkin right there....
