Tina was in the library studying for her upcoming OWLs when she heard Headmaster Trent's announcement booming through the room. She reluctantly shut the astronomy book she was reading and rushed to the courtyard. She'd heard plenty of horror stories about Hogwarts from M. Marchand... poltergeists, monsters in portals, possessions, cults, Inferi, psychopathic professors who enjoy hurting children... but something pink and furry? It sounded preposterous, even by Hogwarts standards! Between studying for OWLs and quidditch practice, Tina had no spare time for shenanigans, so this better not be a joke! That was the thing about Headmaster Trent; it was sometimes hard for Tina to tell when he was serious and when he was joking.
The dark-haired Ravenclaw joined the throng of people already gathered, wand in hand and poised to react,just in case this was real. Her heart dropped as she spotted Professors Stewart and Darlington in the crowd. She trusted them as much as she trusted anybody at this school, so if they took the announcement seriously enough to be here, that was good enough for her. Now she was getting worried! What could've happened?
