 Mischievous Niffler
Alice was prowling the castle grounds in her invisibility cloak - yes, AGAIN. This was something she did all the time when trying to catch troublemakers when Julian was headmaster. After Julian had been ousted (deservedly so), Alice had wrapped her stealth cloak up and had gone about trying to be a normal professor not obsessed with catching troublemakers. So what had brought the cloak back? Well, coming back to her office and finding her desk GONE and her precious items scattered all over the place. Ever since then, she had been prowling around in her free time trying to eavesdrop on students to see if she could catch anyone boasting about pranking her.
So what happened now? Why was everyone headed towards the courtyard with a look of great urgency on their faces? (Some just looked curious.)
"Hey, watch yourself!" she called out as someone almost bumped into her. The words had barely left her mouth when she realized how stupid that was. Scowling, she pulled the cloak off her body and started following the students.
It was not until she saw the headmaster in the courtyard that she began to be afraid. He looked calm, but something about this was very wrong. What in Merlin's beard was going on?
"Headmaster," she said, coming to stand beside him. "Hello, Kay, Joyce." She watched as the courtyard became more and more crowded. |
