No need to say she had her free hand on her hip for a half superhero pose. Yeah, she was trying to mock-intimidate Patrick again, but once more she knew it wouldn't work simply because the guy was so much taller than her.

Alas!

It was still fun anyway.

And Zoryn 'didn't hate it'. Wow! Progress. Good, because the girl had strong arms thanks to being a beater, so that would definitely come in handy during this tug of war thing.

It was on! Anna sent Patrick a satisfied, smug look before moving away. "Go right ahead." She finally added looking at Skyler and getting her own wand from its holster. Conjuring up a rope, she sent it to land stretched out a few metres away from them all. Hopefully Skyler would take the hint and get some mud going before they took their places! "Leave your brooms out here for now, we won't be needing them." She told everyone, placing her own broom down to the side before rushing towards the rope. "Gryffindors on this side! Slytherins, over there." Anna said as she stood next to the rope on Gryffindor's side. "You all know how this works, right? Normal Muggle tug of war. Everyone grab onto the rope on your respective side then when I give the sign, you PULL! The team that manages to get most of the other team in the mud wins!" She explained just in case there was some ignorant Pureblood kid there that had never heard of Muggle games.

Had Skyler gotten on with that mud making yet? She was counting on it now to make everything more interesting! Heeheehee!

"Alright, hurry up now!" Chop chop! She was waitinggggggg and giving some encouraging words to her players as they joined her on Gryffindor's side. They could DO this! Slytherin was going DOWN!

*****

"Ready!?? Set." Another dramatic pause...... Quite a long one, actually, to test their attention and readiness as well. Heeehee!

......

.......

...

"NOW!!!" And using ALL of her might, she went pulling that rope.

OOC: Hallooooo!!! Thanks all for coming, this should be a fun practice! If you haven't joined us yet, just jump in as if your charrie has been here all along oorrr... just have them arrive late and join their team anyway, that will work too, hah!

SO, here's how this first task is gonna go. Please number your posts so we can make sure not to miss any of them! There's a simple rubric thingy Sarah and I came up with [actually, I adapted it from Thea's lesson thread because I'm lazy, but you don't need to tell everyone (I stole it with permission, okay, I'm not THAT lazy xP)]. Each individual post will get points, so the more you post, the more points you may get for your team! But please do not double post! Here's the rubric for post points:

1 point = member produces a post with minimal detail (provides character action, missing many essential details such as character thoughts, impressions, opinions, feelings)
2 points = member produces a post with acceptable detail (provides character actions, missing some essential details ex. saying a character is annoyed but not mentioning why, having a character give up without reason, refuse to do the activity without reason etc.)
3 points = member produces a post with exceptional detail (provides character actions/thoughts, eg. a post in which a character's thoughts/feelings are explored or made mention of (negative, positive or neutral), actions are provided in some amount of detail such as how they do whatever they're doing (carefully? sloppily?) etc.)

Sarah and I will decide on points together so it's fairrrr for everybodeh because we're good people, lol. Anna and Patrick will join the task, but our posts will not count towards the points. Sooo get working if ya want your house to win! x)

You have until the 23rd to make as many crazy tug of war posts as you want, Sarah and I will be posting throughout as well. On the 23rd one of us will make a post mentioning the winner (aka, get ready to get muddy, losing team!) and we'll move on to the next task!

Note: NO ONE SHOULD DIE! Or even get seriously injured. This is a simple Tug of War game, it's no big deal as these kiddos should be used to much rougher action during Quidditch matches =P
Note 2: You don't need to post your charrie being awesome at it 100% of the time, as creativity also counts towards points! But of course, common sense prevails so if your charrie refuses to join in or for some reason can't do the activity properly they might not get full points, which is ultimately fineeee and no one will OOC hate you for being true to your charrie (if they do, don't worry, I'll poke them in the eye)!

Off we go! HAVE FUN!

Skyler grinned and set her broom aside. She came back and waved her wand, turning a large area of grass into a mud puddle.
I don't care if I fall into the mud, that'll be fun!! She kept the grin on her face as she stuffed her wand back in her robe pocket and grabbed onto the rope. She tugged at the rope, making sure to keep her feet planted the best she could. She would probably fail epically though.
