Mark paddling In The Water next to the boat just paddled In The Water with his mouth gaping open sometimes swallowing lake water having to spit it out.
...Wow....maybe being In The Water was a bad idea. He looked up toward Nettie. "I-it's her's" He said totally shocked and in awe
Old Bartholomew leaned over on his back in the water, as he studied the boy that was paddling in the water with his mouth gaping open as a fish. Curiously old Barty swam closer.
"Why are you in the water boy? Do you need a lift back up into the boaty?" Had the girl scared him? Was that why he had his mouth open like that?

She looked back at Mark, who was thankfully alive and not drowning at the bottom of the lake. "Are you ok?! What happened?!" she asked in shock.
The soggy paper thingy belonged to the girl that grabbed it from his tentacle with a loud noice that he desciphered as happiness and thus said
"You're welcome." Why did young humans always have so loud voices? Turning to look at the boy still in the water the giant squid added on to the girl's questions
"You're we'ren't trying to catch a mermaid or something right."
