Rhibear ~ Madam Solo ~ Dark Brooding Girl ~ Accio Jedi ~ Gryffinclaw ~ Just a doll Tina kept her eyes glued to the door, waiting anxiously for something to happen. Feelings of self doubt gnawed at her, and just when she was positive her answer was wrong... the door opened. Whew, thank Merlin! The dark-haired Ravenclaw couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. Now that they had that little guessing game out of the way, they could look forward to a normal class without any more surprises, right?
Apparently not... Tina stepped through the door, expecting to find the professor and a familiar classroom setup, but all she saw was another locked door. Ugh! Seriously?! One normal class with no surprises, just one...was that so much to ask? This was a bit much. Even Ravenclaw tower capped it at one riddle to get inside! This game stopped being fun when... well, actually it had never been fun for her. Tina inwardly groaned. She supposed it could be worse' at least she wasn't still stuck in the corridor where any random professor could happen by.
Tina waited for a path to clear before approaching the door to carefully read the next question. Polyjuice potion... Gee, I wonder why Noble chose to ask about that particular potion, she thought. Of course she was being sarcastic; it was an obvious reference to the prank in charms class. Thanks to Headmaster Trent's backhanded reprimand reminder that day, she knew Polyjuice was banned at Hogwarts, but it didn't make sense that one would be allowed to use it anywhere else either. Tina bit her lower lip, lost in thought. "Whenever I want to be someone else for a day" sounded too simple to be the correct answer, and "whenever I want. as long as I change into a muggle" seemed a bit problematic to her too. Wouldn't that have the potential to violate the International Statute of Secrecy?
Tina pondered the remaining two answers at length. On the one hand, it sort of made sense that the use of polyjuice potion would be allowed if the Ministry knew about it, but the question didn't necessarily ask when it was allowed. It asked when it was appropriate, and Tina knew from experience that "allowed" and "appropriate" could be two very different things. That and the fact that the previous question had been about ethics gave her the feeling that this was an ethical dilemma rather than a legal one. There was only one way Tina herself would in good conscience use polyjuice potion. She drew her wand and tapped After obtaining informed consent from the person I want to change into. Please let that be the right one...
