The Office of the Invisibility Task Force are responsible for keeping large-scale Wizarding events, and Wizarding locations, unseen and unnoticed by Muggles. Their work is preventative in nature, and they are tasked with eliminating the likelihood of statute breaches before they can occur. Established in 1692 when the Statute of Secrecy was signed, this is one of the longest-standing divisions in the Ministry of Magic. Wizarding Event Concealment communicate directly with the Games and Sports Department and Event Security Liasions in Magical Law Enforcement, as well as Event Planning personnel in the Minister's Office, and representatives from outside the Ministry where private events are planned. Unplottable Structures are responsible for keeping Wizarding buildings and historical reserves concealed, ensuring apparition and disapparition charms are in place where secrecy, privacy, and security are emphasized. They work closely with the Environmental Protection Department and Magical Creatures department in relation to creature reserves and natural magical habitats, and a master list of all privately owned unplottable locations in Wizarding Britain is maintained by the Office. - - - - - - Event Concealment Advisor Requirements and Job Description:
The Event Concealment Advisor is responsible for communicating directly with the Games and Sports Department and Event Security Liasions in Magical Law Enforcement, as well as Event Planning personnel in the Minister's Office, and liaising with outside organisations regarding any planned large scale events in the British Wizarding World. The Concealment Advisor must assess the need for specific concealment techniques and make recommendations based on scale and duration, and may be required to advise regarding the proposed locations of forthcoming events. The Concealment Advisor should be proficient in concealment charm theory, and should periodically inspect recommended locations to be sure they remain suitable. The Concealment Advisor should also monitor Muggle news for mention of the locations in question and keep in contact with the Obliviator Office and Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee as needed. They work directly with Event Concealment Specialists and must provide their recommendations in a timely manner. 6 OWL subjects are required, including Charms, Transfiguration, Muggle Studies, Ancient Runes and History of Magic, or equivalent as judged by the Department Head. Wizarding Event Concealment employees are responsible for maintaining the buffers and barriers between the Wizarding and Muggle worlds for all major and minor games and sporting events, as well as any other large scale Wizarding Events. They are in constant communication with members of the Games and Sports Department and Magical Law Enforcement, as well as Event Planning personnel in the Minister's Office. They should follow the reports given by Event Concealment Advisors regarding which charmwork is needed and on what scale. Wizarding Event Concealment employees must be well-versed in concealment charms, and a minimum E grade in NEWT level Charms is required. They must also have at least 4 other NEWT level subjects.
