Oh wow! What now? Trolls??? As she started attacking the lot with her club, one of them hit her on the back. 'OUCH!!!!,' she yelled, and she proceeded to hit that little one on the head with a club.
DIIIINGG!!!!!
She felt something on the top of her head. Uh-oh, she had got hit on the head. She felt everything blacking out.Her vision was blurring out.
She fell to the floor with a loud thud. The troll staggered and stumbled when it was hit, but it wasn’t hit nearly hard enough to disappear in a puff of smoke like it was meant to. Now it had company. Other little trolls that wanted to take full advantage of her suddenly being on the floor.
A small swarm appeared. He didn’t know how Parker managed to get hit in the head by something up to her knee and unable to jump but somehow the First Year had and somehow she was now on the floor with trolls gathering round.
Malachi grimaced at the sight, unsure what aspect he was more unimpressed with considering the trolls didn’t hit nearly hard enough to knock a person unconscious—but she was on the ground and in for quite the knocking about if she stayed there so grabbing his own club, the man gave each troll that appeared a firm whack to the head. Each disappeared with a poof.
The Headmaster got down on one knee and nudged the girl firmly but carefully. “On your feet, Parker. Come on, shake it off.” Did she have some pre-existing head condition? That would’ve been nice to have on file somewhere. It was the only explanation. These trolls didn’t have the capacity to knock a person out—or the height for that matter. Bruised knees were a more present danger.
Either way, there were more trolls coming so she needed to regain her footing and get her club ready. Quote:

She rushed over to her but not before firmly whacking two trolls and ducking to miss another one.
Daisy couldn't really do anything for Laila so she got back up and gave Headmaster Trent a concerned look. This lapse of concentration earned Daisy a whack on the leg which made her swing her club with anger. Malachi caught the concerned look from Swann and gave her a reassuring one in return. The first year on the floor was a concern but a mild one. He would take care of it. Best she focus on the trolls headed her way.
This troll had barely swung his club when the knock from the Hufflepuff’s club caused it to disappear into a puff on smoke.
It’s like it was never there.
She shouldn’t get comfortable though, three more headed her way, each violently waving their bats about. Quote:

It looked like the thing she would do in his mind so yup...he moved to the other side of the room.
Unfortunately for him, the side that he had chosen happened to be the side where the Headmaster pulled open a door and he shrieked when the little trolls came rushing in. NOPE! The Ravenclaw changed direction and hastily walked to the back.
Could he hide behind someone who wasn't Zoryn ? He would tell them where to swing ....was he trying to avoid the activity? Pffft no
....yes Running would not be enough, in fact, running earned him the attention of a small gang of trolls who had been otherwise stumbling around and minding their own business. Now, the four turned to him. They scampered over, one taking a hard whack at his knee and another toward his shin.
Whatchu gonna do, son? Quote:

She knew they weren't real so it wouldn't hurt and she had some third-year aggression she was ready to get out.
When it was time to start she moved towards one and took a good wack at it. The magical object didn't seem to like it and took a swing, but she had jumped away in time. Wow did they seem real, but thankfully they weren't or Chloe probably would have been knocked out by one of their clubs.
The club was different than a beaters bat, but still, she gripped it like she did in that tryout and went after her next one. This time trying to sneak up on it better. Tiptoeing behind it she raised her club and took another swing. The little troll didn’t have the faintest clue that she was coming, it stood idly, one finger up its nose while his other hand hung limp with his club. This was a good booger and it felt good picking it—poof! The hit was hard enough and it was gone in a second.
Did she notice the one sneaking up behind her while she was sneaking up behind its friend? It very much existed and very much swung at the back of her legs. Quote:

Blah, blah, blah.
Zoryn would make no promises.
But there wasn't much time to dwell on what she would or would not do because no sooner had Trent finished his speech that Trolls began making their way around the dueling arena. And y'know what Zoryn had to say about all of this? "BRING. IT. ON!"
Because here's the thing.
Clubs? They were pretty much a beater's bat. And you know what Zoryn was? She was a beater. A pretty good one, at that. Very aggressive. Super abrasive. So this activity was right up her alley. The seventh year didn't waste a moments time before chasing after trolls and WHACKING them on the head as hard as her Quidditch strength allowed her to. TAKE THAT.
She'd just pretend that they were all Anna Meriwether. Easy. Bring it on????
OKAY!
The girl’s yell had earned her the attention of quite a few trolls. Noises. Always go toward the noises. But this was weird. She was chasing THEM! Two poofed into clouds of smoke under the swing of her club but they wouldn’t surrender! They could not surrender! Three trolls ran at her head on, each swinging wildly while they did. This was waaarrr! Quote:

Józef couldn't quite believe his luck. Whilst not a beater, he still enjoyed wacking a few bludgers in training and getting to hit little magically-created trolls as part of a lesson?! Well, his grudge against Headmaster Trent was starting to lessen.
Just a little, though - he'd officially be annoyed until Gryffindor were top of the Quidditch table.
Weighing the club in his hand for a moment before tightening his grip, Jó weaved through students toward the oncoming trolls. He was READY. And they were the perfect height for hitting on the head. "YES." He exclaimed the first time his bat made contact, followed soon by a very angry "OW!" as another trolls club smacked into his ankle. Yes. His ankle. Add another hit there and one to the back of his left knee. The troll waved its friends over, before taking another swing at the boy. It was soon joined by two more. They didn’t have a special formation, hitting was just in their nature and if they could get him to the floor like some earlier had managed with the one in blue, he would make a good target too. Happy to do anything other than answer questions that gave the headmaster of all people the wrong idea about her, the sixth year raised her wooden club and headed towards the first couple little trolls she could reach. This was an excellent way to pass the time as far as she was concerned and she whacked at the first troll with all her might, following up with a sweeping hit towards the second. The first troll didn’t see it coming. It was sudden. It was swift. It was while it was picking its nose and that just wasn’t fair.
The troll disappeared with a poof but the second caught on in a split second and raised its own club to defend it. Bouncing from impact, it slammed its club by her feet, hoping to get at least one of them.
The third jumped to action too, swinging wildly in her direction. This was for having no respect for the boogers!
