Chloe was SKIPPING. It wasn't the most mature seventh year activity, but she was in a reasonably good mood and she wanted to visit her friends in the barn. Her barn friends. Her winged horsey friends. She missed the ones at home terribly during term, and this was the next best thing.
Of course, she had to run into Derf here, although he wasn't looking happy at all. In fact, his face was long enough to brush the tops of his shoes and he looked like he was in a hurry.
"Hi, Derfy. Are you okay? I was just going to give Zeus a rubdown and braid his tail. He likes it. Don't tell the other Abraxans, ok? I think they'll tease him horribly." She'd also brought him apples from the kitchen, although... come to think of it, she'd eaten half of them on the way down from the castle.
