Amelia was having a moment of nostalgia as she passed by the trophy room on the way to the Hospital Wing that morning. Staring at the trophies encased within the glass, she sighed wistfully, easily finding her own name and then others near her plaque that she recognized. Savannah Mae, Seth Paton, Vanessa Corbette, Leonardo Moretti, Evan Cassels, Molly Woodrow, Jack Langley, Rapunzel Black, Kaika Lockhart. Some of whom she had kept in touch with and knew their children well, others she wondered what had become of them.
Like Evan and Molly and Jack. Captains she had played under and alongside. Were they still playing quidditch? Probably not, they were around her age, but had they even gone onto professional quidditch?
And then there were more recent plaques such as Savannah's daughter by the Slytherin plaques and Vanessa's daughter by the Hufflepuff plaque and Amelia couldn't help but feel a twinge of pride.
