Aaaand that was officially the last of them. It was likely the boy had zoned out--not something he was impressed with but at least he caught on by the end. That got a nod out of the Headmaster. He would do all that was expected. Good. Malachi had meant everything he said about holding them accountable. Now that they'd each verbally made the commitment, it was time to move forward.
This wasn't by any means the point at which he started waiting for them to fail. No. This was the part where he started looking ahead and placed his trust in their hands that they would get things done while at the same time being prepared to take action if they didn't.
Botros got a nod too, confirming all was forgiven here and they were moving forward.
With the conversation officially behind them, Malachi straightened and made for the exit. He was done here and Tree Boy seemed to have plans by the looks of it.
