Wait. What?

Abra stared at Zoryn like she'd just sprouted an extra head. It was fan art? She wanted it to stay? He looked between her and Harri, trying decide if she was just putting on some kind of front, pretend that she liked the portrait to save face in front of the first year, but she seemed... genuine.

So, ultimately, she'd just blasted Abra's ear drums for absolutely no reason at all.

And also, was Anna okay? She was starting to sound like she was dealing with an over-exuberant cheering charm that wasn't wearing off; Abra glanced uncertainly around at everyone, before looking back at the portrait once more. Was it really that funny?

Huh? Oh. Abra looked back at Headmaster Trent again, and quickly nodded. "Right, okay," he said, and stepped a little closer to the portrait, decidedly not looking at the real Zoryn, given the betrayal that was about to take place.

As Trent spoke to the others behind him, including another newcomer, a young Ravenclaw girl, Abra got to work with unsticking the portrait. "Avexis," he said confidently, tapping the picture frame. He half expected it to fall down, so when it didn't, he tried again to physically take it down from the wall.

...... Uhhhhhhhh.

"Huh?" What? Had he for real just messed up one of the most basic spells, right in front of the Headmaster? He tried again, once more, with feeling. "Avexis." A tap. A tug. No budge.

Well. Well. This was... huh. That was definitely the Unsticking Charm, so, if that wasn't working, this was probably put up with... the Permanent Sticking Charm. And Abra didn't know the counter-charm to that; in fact, he didn't even think there was one.

"Uhh... sir?" Abra said, turning to look back at the headmaster, his tone sort of apologetic given he was butting into a conversation about missing items. "It's... not moving. I think it's, you know, stuck stuck." Like, permanently stuck stuck.
