There was a very loud commotion going on by the Fat Lady's Portrait. Normally Nettie would keep her nose down and mind her own business lol jk who was she kidding, since she was headed to her own common room entrance, but how could she possibly THINK enough to solve the riddle to the Ravenclaw common room when there was so much yelling?
So, curiosity got the better of her and she headed towards the Gryffindor common room entrance. As she got there, she saw a small crowd had already formed - the Gryffindors, obviously, and the Headmaster. No one else from the other houses were around, so it was clearly a Lion issue. That didn't mean she wasn't going to be nosy, though.
"What's going - " she began, until she saw...it. At first, she was horrified. What in the name of Merlin...and then she realized...OH MY GOSH. It was that ZORYN girl. To be quite honest, Nettie had never forgotten the time she tried to sell her a fake pool pass her first year, so the fact that she was being made fun of like this...well, she had to laugh. She bit her lip to try and stop herself from giggling but...she couldn't help it. A few chuckles escaped.
"So, is this were all the brushes in the art room went? Towards making...this?" she asked with a small grin. She probably shouldn't insert herself in to this but..."If it helps, no one has vandalized the Ravenclaw common room like this," she added. Being TOTALLY helpful there, because their common room was just down the hall and if they thought someone was out to get all the entrances, it clearly wasn't the case.
