He was going to miss being able to experience the human senses; he was going to miss the foods the most. But the voices were getting even stronger, drawing him into lifting his host’s hand just as he was bumped by someone. That was petty. Templeton had a much bigger decision to make.
When the other human’s hand plunged into the liquidy depths, Templeton’s mind had been made up. He wanted to go back too. As much as he liked the human world, it was a messy place to be. Megan’s right hand dropped into the tank.
