With her own cloud above her head, and now a group, it was time to learn the spell. *Perhaps she should have done that before she asked to join a group. Was she unprepared now, having not even said the spell? A quick "tem-PES-tas hor-RIB-ih-lis," was said a few times under her breath. Being that the wand movement was only a slight flick of the wrist as she pointed towards the cloud, rather than anything too intricate and complicated, she decided she was ready.
She watched as Tina cast the spell to Septimus' cloud, and pointed her own wand at Tina's. "Tempestas Horribilis," she said, giving her wand a slight flick with her wrist. Quote:

It meant he and Tina weren’t always just going to shoot the spell back and both at each other.
Though she had shot the spell at his cloud first.
White flecks were landing on his rain mac, the boy rain arm slightly to confirm as he looked closer before looking up. Only to get a snowflake or two in the face. “Nice,” Septimus complimented Tina while her own cloud was being spelled. Guess that gave him Tina’s cloud at his first target, the fourth year raisin his wand and taking aim. His mind trying to imagine the results he wanted out of it as he cast “Tempestas Horribilis!”
Tina smiled at the other girl, slightly surprised that she knew her name, but she assumed she must've overheard it at the feast or quidditch tryouts. She thought she remembered seeing her there. “You're welcome… Hanna, is it?” she said. Well, this would make an interesting dynamic! Tina hadn't expected to be able to find one partner, let alone two, but as far as partners went, she lucked out. At least she didn't get stuck with the lava people or the firebug!
Tina kept a close eye on Septimus's cloud. Would you look at that? Her spell worked! “Thanks!” she replied with a small smile, but before she could feel too pleased with herself, she felt a raindrop on her face, then another and another. It seemed Hanna's spell had hit her cloud while she was she was watching Septimus's!
The rain wasn't a big deal. She had a mac on and her hood up, but she figured she should at least try to block it. "Protego!” she cast, aiming her wand above her head, and the rain pattered off an invisible shield. It was lucky she cast her shield when she did! As soon as the shower from Hanna's spell tapered off, her cloud took another hit, this time from Septimus. Her shield may not have blocked the spell, but it did keep the rain from falling on her.
Tina wasn't sure whether to laugh or scoff at the ambush. Really, guys? Two against one wasn't fair… but it was all in fun, she supposed. “Good job!” she said, nodding to each of her partners in turn. Okay, nice time over. Back to the weather duel!
She refocused her attention on Hanna's cloud. Why should she and Septimus get all the fun? Tina decided to stick with snow again; rain was boring and hail was dangerous. She concentrated with all her might, once again visualizing a sprinkling of tiny, perfect snowflakes. “Tempestas Horribilis!” she said, aiming her wand with a flick of her wrist, and she watched in anticipation for the flurry she hoped would follow.
