Especially when a cloud appeared right above her.
"You did it!" WELL DONE! "Now, are you ready for some rain?" He didn't really wait for verbal confirmation but figured his asking was warning enough. "Tempestas Horribilus." He said, pointing his wand at Holly's cloud above her head. Enjoy the rain, sis.
She had made a cloud!
She had managed!
………. Rain?
Wait. What? No sooner at her brother congratulated her than he distracted her. Rain, oh no. What was she supposed to do? What was the spell for the sheild? She didn’t know! They hadn’t been taught it yet…
And within seconds of her trying to figure out what she could do to stop herself from getting soaked -- she was drenched. Her usually bouncy curls, clung to her face - much longer, darker and heavier than before . The water poured off the jacket, puddling around her feet and soaking through her socks from the holes in her shoes. Blinking water away from her eyes, and utterly distracted by the way water droplets were running down her back, she shivered.
Urgh.
Shivering under the torrent of rain that just kept pouring, she tried to blink water away from her eyes and looked up at the perfect cloud above her brother.
“Tempestas Horribilus.” Nothing. Frowning and trying again, she focused on rain.
“Tempestas Horribilus.” Still nothing.
"Tempestas Horribilus!” She said again, focusing as much as she could on the idea of rain coming from that clous. Rainrainrainrain! She thought, and although it was only a trickle of rain, enough to maybe dampen his hair and get some rain drops on his own raincoat - she had managed!!!
