As soon as they were told to start getting on with it, Abra cast his eye around for a partner or group to join, but he was pretty dubious. Would he be able to persuade someone to steer clear of conjuring snow? He really wasn't sure.

Hearing his fellow prefect call out for someone to work with, Abra went ahead and raised a hand to get his attention. "I'll work with you," he said. He and Jackson had never really talked a great deal before, so this was perhaps a good chance to interact with him a little bit. "Uh. If that's okay, I mean."

Jackson smiled when he saw Abra was volunteering. Jackson realized he needed to get to know his fellow Prefects outside of meetings and patrols... New goal for the year. "Of course!" Jackson laughed a bit. As if he'd say no after calling out like that! Silly Prefect. Looking at him, Jackson noticed the lack of rain mac on his partner. "D'you want it?" he asked him, offering the one he had grabbed a minute ago. Jackson really didn't mind either way.
