Default Station 4 -->

Jackson was finally getting comfortable on the broom, but he still needed to focus. He waited for an opening and called to one of the other students, “Here!” The quaffle came flying at him and he was surprised when he caught it! So surprised in fact that he almost dropped it, and had to catch it again with his other hand. Oops… heh heh… He wondered if Juni had seen than. Almost immediately after he got his bearings with the ball, he threw it to another student and waited for it to get passed back to him. He was able to get a few passes in as he went through the passing zone, some catches were alright and some were more of a fumble, but with his previous experience with Quidditch (read: none), he was content with his effort.

As he arrived at the other end, he took a big breath and blew it out. The adrenaline was going now and he was interested to see how he did taking shots. He took a moment to steady himself, and began pacing on his broom. He figured his best chance at getting past the Keeper was to keep him on his toes. Finally, he gathered the energy up in his right hand and lobbed the quaffle towards the right hoop. Unfortunately the Keeper was quick, and hit the ball back towards him. That was okay. Jackson paced again, being a little more exaggerative in case it helped his chances. He went to the same spot as before, hoping to make the Keeper think that he was going for a similar shot as before when REALLY he was shooting left. He lobbed the ball with as much force as he could safely muster, and managed to get it… well, close. The quaffle made a loud noise as it thudded on the side and it so nearly made it in the hoop! The Keeper caught the ricochet and Jackson continued to the last section of the course.

This, Jackson was a little more confident with actually, because he had a pretty good eye for things. He hadn’t really gone looking for a snitch before, but he had played plenty of sports growing up and had pretty good coordination. There was a lot of flying, dodging, diving… but to his delight, Jackson caught the snitch. With a big smile on his face, he realized he wouldn’t mind being a Seeker. He hadn’t had anything against it before, but he hadn’t actually thought about if he was offered that position. Feeling quite happy, Jackson let the snitch go and went after it again.
