Sundials!
She had read about those before - they told what time of the day it was by the position of the Sun in the sky! She thought it was a fascinating and was excited to hear that they would be making their own sundials. Well, as long as she did not have to carry it around everywhere she went. It certainly was not as pretty as a watch.
Standing up from her seat, the Ravenclaw followed the others towards the grounds to gather her materials.

Upon returning to the meeting place from her
search, Jade put down her rock and stick next to her chair. Phew, that was a heavy rock! She quickly wiped her forehead, making sure that nobody noticed her sweating. She was FINE. Clearly she was strong enough to carry a ROCK by herself, geez.
