From the first moment she’d heard about this little event, Ailis had known she’d be there. She hadn’t had any second thoughts at all, even considering her Incendio profile seemed to be quiet as of late. Obviously that wasn’t her fault. Nor was the fact that, as she’d breezed her way through the door of the spare classroom, having taken particular care as to what she was wearing, she was obviously not early by any means. Things didn’t look like they’d started yet, so she wasn’t late. Besides, it wasn’t like she was about to show up in her school uniform. That was a faux pas if ever she’d known one.
The fact there were obviously more girls than boys in the room didn’t bother her half as much as the fact there were people younger than her. Not only that but there was a surprising low turnout of her housemates, although she’d given the few who were there an appraising look. Something told her not everyone there would be as fun for her as others. But of course, that wouldn’t stop her.
