Nettie smiled and grabbed the hot quaffle that Chloe sent her way. Grinning to herself, she felt the quaffle heating up and she looked around for someone to send it off to. Once she did that she could head off to scoring some goals, and then to the grand finale - catching the Snitch!
She spotted a girl flying by - she was new, and Nettie hadn't learned her name yet (Tina) "Here ya go!" she exclaimed, taking her quaffle and throwing it to the girl as she approached the station.
With that out of her hands, she headed over to the goal posts. She'd done a pretty decent job as Chaser her first year - let's see if she still had the skills, yes?
Taking the quaffle in her hand and tossing it up and down a few times. She flew over to the middle hoop, wound her arm back, and threw it at the goal. She watched in satisfaction as it soared through the hoop with ease. Grinning, she got another quaffle and headed towards the right hoop. She wound up once again and then shot it through the goal. This one hit the edge of the rim, but managed to tumble in through the goal anyways. It wasn't a pretty goal - but it was still a goal!
She'd had two goals, which was all she needed. Time to join the hunt for the Snitch!
