Hanna let out a laugh, clearly Chloe's surprise attack wasn't enough to scare the hiccups away. "I can... try to." How easy was it to scare someone who was expecting it? She thought quickly. Obviously a 'BOO' wouldn't do the trick. A scary story wasn't really the scare factor, right? Hanna bent down, her head under the desk. She scrunched up a piece of parchment, and popped back up. She threw it towards Chloe, saying "SPIDER!" as she did so.
Spiders were scary, right? Maybe not a parchment spider.
Hanna listened to the explanation of Singultus fixus. Of course there would be a spell to fix magically induced hiccups. She watched Professor Dopple perform the wand movement. A little tap. Quick, little tap. But of course not near the nose, that was how eyes popped out. Hanna lifted her wand, imagined a face in front of hers, and tapped it near the imaginary nose. Tap.
