Ewan was in the zone. Fully focused on the next objective and doing it to the best of his ability because from here on, he’d have to. Hitting things was the easy part but he knew where his weaknesses were.
Dropping his bat off at the station for the next person to use, he pushed back off the floor with as much ferocity as he could muster and propelled himself off to the next station. What did Juni say it was… bludgers? Yup. Here they came, fizzing towards him as though they were Ewan seeking missiles. With a mighty tug on his broom, he swerved off to his left into a dive before finally pulling up as he got close to the dew covered ground. One down. One to go.
Taking a deep breath to steady himself, he quickly looked over his shoulder in hopes of seeing the next bludger. His eyes searched briefly for the hard brown ball, and it wasn’t long before he found it. Well, it found him. It came barrelling towards him. 20 ft away. 10 ft away. 5 ft away. Smirking slightly now, he Ewan slackened his grip and dropped until he was hanging upside down just in time as the bludgers reached his side, missing him by inches. Quickly, he swung back and forth until he got back onto his broom and sped off to the keeper’s hoops, ready to try and save a few goals. Hopefully.
